An FIR was filed against 17 individuals connected to the affair, including Goldy Brar, Sampat Nehra, Anmol Bishnoi, and Lawrence Bishnoi.

The accused who was arrested by the police was reportedly planning to obtain weapons from Pakistan, attack Salman Khan, and then flee to Sri Lanka.
