Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, the big-budget period drama series debuted on Netflix a month ago. Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s epic drama series received a second season order on Monday.

A video of a hundred dancers performing to a mix of songs from the series, including Sakal Ban and Tilasmi Baahein, was posted on Netflix India’s official Instagram page. The dancers were gathered on Carter Road in Mumbai, dressed in anarkalis and ghungroos. “Mehfil phir se jamegi, Heeramandi: Season 2 jo aayeg” the streamer wrote as the caption for the image.
Heeramandi marked Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s series debut, and he expressed gratitude for the show’s success. “The affection and gratitude I’ve received for ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ are a blessing. Seeing the show take off with viewers all over the world has been a pleasure, and Netflix has been an excellent partner. We’ll be back with season 2, I’m glad to report,” the director said in a statement.
