In New Orleans during Mardi Gras, Bret loses several thousand dollars in a card game with the beauteous Felice De Lassignac (Joanna Barnes). To recoup his losses, Bret accepts a job from Felice’s aristocratic husband (Charles Maxwell) to deliver a casket containing the body of a dearly departed family retainer. En route to his destination, Bret meets another woman (Roxane Berard) who also claims to be Felice De Lassignac…and before he quite knows what’s happening, our hero is up to his neck in an elaborate–and deadly–smuggling scheme., A $10,000 temptation puts Bret unwittingly in the middle of a fantastic smuggling scheme.
