Sara Ali Khan gave some exclusive information on Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Jamnagar festivities.
Sara Ali Khan, who last appeared in the flicks Ae Watan Mere Watan and Murder Mubarak, recently commented about Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant‘s lavish pre-wedding parties in Jamnagar. “They served us gold and roti,” she joked. Sara Ali Khan told Midday about Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding event in March, joking, “They would serve gold.” As with our roti, we would eat gold. “And there were diamonds everywhere.”
She later stated, “It was a very beautiful, warm, delightful, and welcoming gathering. I went to school with Anant Ambani and knew Radhika Merchant growing up. I believe the entire Ambani family, particularly Nita ma’am, my chairwoman at Dhirubai Ambani School. They are quite kind and inviting.” Sara Ali Khan recalled the most memorable aspect of the three-day ceremony, saying, “I think the most memorable moment for me was when I saw Anant and Radhika signing the hastakshar papers and looking at each other with love.”
She continued, “It was definitely a lot of fun, which is why I’m telling you about this specific moment, because it’s the most human moment. Everyone looked at it as this extraordinary thing, reviewing what each actor was wearing, ‘Oh god, everyone is performing’, but there were these real moments, like when Nita ma’am did her Bharatnatyam performance for Anant, where she didn’t miss a single beat and had so much grace, but she also had so much mamta in her eyes during the performance. Moments like those stand out.”
Sara Ali Khan shared details about her living situation and surroundings, saying, “I was staying at a place called Green Retreat. There was a Subway Coffee there. So I was drinking a lot of coffee. But I wasn’t eating much since I needed to look well for promotional events.” The Ambanis hosted an opulent party in Jamnagar in March to commemorate Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s union ahead of their July wedding. Over the course of three days, performers such as Rihanna, Akon, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arijit Singh entertained the visitors.
The Ambanis recently hosted another pre-wedding event on a luxury cruise in Europe. The event lasted four days and was attended by numerous Bollywood stars. Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys, and others performed at the occasion.
Sara Ali Khan‘s next film will be an action comedy with Ayushmann Khurrana. Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment are collaborating to produce the film.
