Season 2 opens with Stephen King, Courtney B. Vance and Gloria Reuben, who learn about their paternal ancestry. King’s father left his family when King was 2; Vance’s father never knew his birth parents; and Reuben’s father died when she was young, taking his story with him. As a result of the investigation, each is introduced to family members they didn’t know they had.
