The trailer of Stree 2, have been long awaited. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee. The horror-comedy, directed by Amar Kaushik, is a sequel to the 2018 smash film Stree, which fully thrilled the audience. The new teaser promises more horror and pleasure as Chanderi’s people face a new threat.
As seen in the Stree 2 trailer, evil returns! Pankaj Tripathi reveals the reappearance of the person who murdered Stree, as foretold in previous scripts. The malicious power is referred to as ‘Sarkata’, which means the headless monster. He has returned to Chanderi to terrorise and torment the locals. The sequel leaves our characters in a state of perplexity, as they have no idea how to deal with the new threat!
Vicky, played by Rajkummar Rao, loves Shraddha Kapoor‘s character. However, we know nothing about her because the filmmakers kept her identity a mystery. Aparshakti Khurrana informs Rajkummar Rao that his girlfriend is a fantasy. However, Vicky is certain that she is genuine and his true love. Well, his love is true because Shraddha Kapoor has returned. We observed more passion growing between Shraddha Kapoor and Vicky from the moment she appeared on TV.
In the Stree 2 teaser, Chanderi’s women ask Vicky to destroy the headless monster. However, Vicky is afraid since the monster is a massive creature. Would you like to discover what this headless creature does? Well, he controls or influences men’s minds in Chanderi. The trailer depicts these males as being unruly or violent. Vicky and his friends need to stop the monster before Mahapooja Day. If they fail to do so, the repercussions will be fatal. So, will they be successful in preventing the headless monster from wreaking havoc in Chanderi? That is something we will learn in the sequel.
The makers took six years for the sequel, and the intriguing trailer shows that it was well worth the wait. The premise appears good and includes a lot of intrigue. The pop culture references just enhance the hilarity, and we know the horror element will be fantastic in the film.
