Introduction
Breaking New Ground is a renovation series that follows Robert Harwell as he takes on the huge task of restoring a historic 200-year-old mansion into a cosy and welcoming home. In Episode 4: The Living Room, Study, and Exterior, Robert faces both creative and construction challenges. He turns to his buddies for assistance and strengthens his bond with the new community. Episode 5 will continue the renovation adventure, laying the groundwork for the season finale.
Plot
Robert Harwell, a Broadway dancer and entrepreneur from New York, has purchased a property in Great Barrington, Mass.
Robert Harwell accepts the challenge of restoring a 200-year-old house with a difficult history into a home full of love. It’s a remodelling narrative that honours Robert’s perseverance and that of those who came before him.
Aside from remodelling his dream home, he delves into a 200-year history to learn about its origins and his family roots.

Breaking New Ground is produced by Robert Hartwell along with world famous designer Scott Brothers, Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott. Robert Harwell will be seen as the host of the series. John O’Brian and Whitney Battle Baptiste will also be a part of the series.
