Abhishek Banerjee Reveals His Casting In Vedaa Was A ‘Mistake’

Abhishek Banerjee, known for his comedic performances, is portraying an antagonist character in Vedaa.

Abhishek Banerjee is well known for his roles in films like as Stree, Bhediya, Vedaa, and Dream Girl 2. He is best known for his comedic parts, but in Vedaa, he plays the adversary.

He recently claimed that filmmaker Nikkhil Advani made the mistake of casting him as the bad guy. Speaking with Zoom, he stated, “On the first day, I thought Nikkhil sir made a mistake in casting me. I wondered how I was going to stand in front of John Abraham. He is such a well-built, strong man.”

He also discussed his action part in the film, Vedaa, in which he had to play guns. He stated, “Because I am skilled in martial arts, I had no trouble taking action. John sir is like a gentle giant; he is quite nice. All I asked was for him to be light and delicate with me. He gave me a lot of power and confidence.”

The film also features John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh, Abhishek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ashish Vidyarthi, Kumud Mishra, Rajendra Chawla, and Tanvi Malhara. Nikkhil Advani directed the film Vedaa, which was released on August 15. Zed Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment are the film’s producers.
