Slow Horses‘ plot revolves around a group of British intelligence experts who have become a dumping ground for MI5 as a result of their failures. These intelligence experts, who were previously viewed as a dumping ground by their higher officials, are given the opportunity to solve a case when a kidnapping occurs and the kidnapper threatens to broadcast the beheading live on the internet.
One of the British agents sees this as an opportunity to redeem their deceased image in front of their superiors. However, when this intelligent specialist attempts to unravel the case, things take a dramatic turn, and unexplained happenings occur. This man quickly realises that it is difficult to solve the case on his own, but he also needs to show himself, and time is running out. Now he must decide how to handle this tricky case.
