Deadpool and Wolverine: ‘Deadpool 3’ overshadowed ‘Blink Twice’ and ‘Crow’, number one even in the fifth week
Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds‘s film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine‘ continues to rock the global box office in its fifth week. The film has once again returned to the top of the box office charts in its fifth weekend of release. This Marvel superhero film has overtaken other films to take the top spot, as it had to face competition from two new films ‘The Crow’ and ‘Blink Twice’, which proved to be a flop in their first release.

However, director Zoe Kravitz’s thriller “Blink Twice” led the way at the box office among new releases, grossing $7.3 million from 3,067 theaters to finish fourth. Lionsgate’s R-rated reboot of “The Crow,” in which Bill Skarsgard’s character is resurrected to avenge his and his fiancée’s deaths, earned $4.6 million from 2,752 theaters to finish eighth.
This film finished at the eighth spot. Critics liked ‘Blink Twice’ more than ‘The Crow’. The audience had a mixed opinion about both the films, due to which both films got a ‘B’ grade on CinemaScore. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see what effect word-of-mouth will have on these films now.
