Kartik Aaryan: ‘One has to struggle to make a place and get equality’

The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ actor, while talking about his experience as an outsider in the industry, said that when you are not from the industry, it is challenging to get recognition and opportunities. The actor said, “When you are not from the industry, it is difficult to get opportunities or recognition for your work. It also affects you. You have to learn everything from scratch, make your own place and struggle to get equal treatment.”

In an interview with GQ India, the actor also talked about his mental health as an outsider in the industry. The actor acknowledged the challenges he faced while getting opportunities and making a name. He said that not being connected to the industry can also be a disadvantage.
During this, the actor said that he often wonders how different his career would have been if he had the same benefits that people connected to the industry get. Kartik said, “It took a lot of introspection to realize that being an outsider is not a weakness. Whatever I have done so far is the result of my own hard work.”
