Kangana Ranaut on Emergency : Said- My film will open many doors for you
Kangana Ranaut is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Emergency’, in which she is playing the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. Recently, the actress talked about Indira Gandhi’s personality and whether we can divide her as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Apart from this, Kangana told that her film can be compared to Oppenheimer.

The actress in her recent interview said, “I don’t know why people are so uncomfortable with the truth. As if they can’t see us clearly. For me, Mrs Gandhi is who she is and we can’t categorise people as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. If you look at it from that vision, this film will open many doors for you but at the same time, a closer comparison with my film would probably be with Oppenheimer.”
Kangana further added, “It is just like Macbeth. Macbeth was destined to be the king, and when he kills the king and becomes the king, the dagger follows him. His conscience follows him… The idea of Emergency is that even the best of us can fall prey to hubris.”
