Anything but Love

A struggling singer finds herself in a love triangle with her piano player and a wealthy suitor. A.k.a. ‘Standard Time.’, Robert Cary’s Standard Time is an old-fashioned low-budget musical. Isabelle Rose plays a cabaret singer whose fantasies are brought to life in music numbers. She must choose between her straight-laced high-school sweetheart and a piano-playing rogue (Andrew McCarthy). Standard Time was screened at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival.
