Friday and Gannon try to break a fanatic who planted dynamite in the city. Friday: Jack Webb. Gannon: Harry Morgan. Donald: Don Dubbins. Al: Bobby Troup., After a neo-Nazi psychopath steals 400 pounds of dynamite from a construction site and lobs a grenade at the security guard, Sgt. Joe Friday (Jack Webb) and Officer Bill Gannon (Harry Morgan) track and capture the madman only to find that their troubles have just begun. Though he admits to the theft, he also reveals that he has planted a bomb in the city, but refuses to divulge the location. Disoriented after an all-night interrogation by the tireless lawmen, the bomber is tricked into revealing his target when quick-thinking Friday lies to him about the time.
