A New Recruit
Dana Sterling is asked to report to General Rolf Emerson and is assigned to help Zor get his memory back. The thinking is that by being in a military environment and in the presence of Dana, whom he has met on the battlefield, he may remember something about his past, either as a soldier for the Masters or the Earth forces. To that end, Zor is assigned to the 15th Squadron as a new recruit. Unfortunately, not everyone in the unit is that trusting of Zor, or his claims of amnesia — especially with this phenomenal combat skill. The smitten Dana and the pragmatic Nova Satori work hard at debriefing Zor, but Zor is oblivious to Dana’s feelings toward him, focused only on discovering who he is. Meanwhile, the Robotech Masters both anticipate and fear what could happen next. Zor may be on the verge of recovering the buried memories of the original Zor, who harnessed protoculture and betrayed the Masters., Zor is inducted into the Army of the Southern Cross.
