Some of the group are excited to be attending a Halloween party but Bronagh is on antibiotics and cannot drink. Conor and Packy head off to be alcohol for the party only to get mugged and stripped but do eventually make it to the party in a rickshaw., A new six-part comedy by Lisa McGee which follows the antics of four Northern Irish twenty-somethings living in London. Ardal O’Hanlon plays Da to Conor and his sister Bronagh, who live with friends Packy and Niamh. Ma is played by Tracey Lynch. For these four friends it’s about having the craic in the world’s greatest city. But often their sense of normalcy doesn’t always match up with the world around them. In episode three, it’s Halloween and there’s a party to attend. Niamh can barely contain her excitement as she has been making costumes based on The Wizard of Oz for all of them. Bronagh is in a foul mood because she’s on a course of antibiotics and can’t drink, plus her Ma and Da have sent their depressed, boring cousin Sean to London to help him get over his recent marital breakdown. En route to the party Packy and Conor end up stranded in their boxers. Things just couldn’t get any more grim. Could they?
