Storm must choose between herself and her godson when evil consumes him. Meanwhile, Wolverine searches for Morph in the Amazon., “Whatever It Takes” is the policy of the Shadow King as he endeavors to force Storm to return to Africa, there to take her rightful place as Princess Orono. To expedite this, Shadow King takes over the mind and body of Storm’s surrogate son Mjnari. Meanwhile, the schizophrenic (but no longer villainous) Morph is invited to rejoin the X-Men by his former enemy Wolverine. Boasting excellent background artwork representing Mt. Kilimanjaro, “Whatever It Takes” was the third episode of X-Men’s second season., Storm returns to her village in Africa, and must choose between her life and that of her godson when a powerful evil overtakes him. Wolverine is in the Amazon, and Professor Xavier and Magneto’s situation goes from bad to worse when they end up in a hidden land.
