Mukesh Khanna told why actors like Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar cannot play the role of Shaktimaan
Mukesh Khanna, who has entertained people for years by playing Shaktimaan, is often known for his outspokenness. Recently, there was news that a film is being made on Shaktimaan and Ranveer Singh has been finalized for this role. However, Mukesh Khanna, who appeared in the TV serial Shaktimaan, strongly objected to this.

There was even news that Ranveer Singh himself went to convince Mukesh Khanna but he did not listen to him. Now, in a recent interview, Mukesh Khanna has also protested against Ranveer‘s nude photoshoot.
Speaking to Bollywood Thikana, Mukesh said, “Now people know that Ranveer Singh came to convince me to allow him to play the role of Shaktimaan. I cannot even hide it because later people said that I praised Ranveer and called him a brilliant actor. News started coming about Ranveer being confirmed to play Shaktimaan but I did not agree to it.”
He further said, “I had a dispute with Sony TV regarding this because I did not allow Ranveer to play this role. Ranveer sat with me for 3 hours that day but I told him that the thing that should be seen on Shaktimaan’s face is not there on his face.”
When he was asked about Akshay Kumar, the actor said that Akshay Kumar also cannot play the character of Shaktimaan.
Along with this, he also raised objections about Ranveer Singh‘s nude photoshoot. He also dragged Deepika Padukone into this matter as to why she did not talk to Ranveer about this matter. Mukesh said that because of that photoshoot, I do not want Ranveer to play the role of Shaktimaan.
