She plays the role of Neela and viewers can expect her to play the role of a weaver in the film. ‘Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer’ marks Anushka‘s debut in the Malayalam film industry.
The film will be released in two parts
‘Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer’ is written by R Ramanand and produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sri Gokulam Movies. Apart from Anushka and Jayasurya, the film will also feature Prabhu Deva and Vineeth in pivotal roles. The technical crew of the film includes Rahul Subramaniam, who is composing the background score and Neil D’Cunha is the cinematographer.
According to reports, the film is based on the story of the great Christian priest Kadammattu Kathanar who lived during the ninth century. The film will be released in two parts. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
