Dhadak 2: First glimpse from the sets of the film
Actress Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi are currently busy shooting for their upcoming romantic drama Dhadak 2. Produced by Dharma Productions, the film is the much-awaited sequel to the 2018 hit Dhadak, which featured debutants Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter. The original film was a remake of the critically acclaimed Marathi film Sairat. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how the sequel will be with the new star cast and story.
Film shooting begins
Tripti and Siddhant have begun shooting. A photo from the set has gone viral on social media. The two were photographed at Somaiya Vidyavihar University in Maharashtra. In the photo shared on social media, the two actors are seen filming a college scene and are also seen climbing stairs while talking. While Tripti looked gorgeous in a printed top and jeans, Siddhant‘s look was quite disheveled.

Dhadak 2, starring Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi, is a remake of the 2018 Tamil language film Pariyerum Perumal. The film is based on the theme of caste-based discrimination prevalent in society. Dhadak 2 is produced by Karan Johar.
The film was announced in May
In May this year, Karan Johar confirmed the sequel of Dhadak through his social media account and announced the release of Dhadak 2. The film was earlier scheduled to release in theaters on November 22, 2024.
