In the film, Vikrant Massey has played the role of a camera person working in a private news channel who is fired from his job for trying to work honestly.

If we talk about the box office collection of the film, the opening day collection of The Sabarmati Report was Rs 1 crore 25 lakhs. On the very first Sunday, the film made a net collection of Rs 3 crores at the Indian box office. By the end of the first week, the film had earned Rs 11 crore 50 lakhs.
This weekend also, the film’s earnings have shown strong growth. After earning Rs 1 crore 40 lakhs on Friday, it has shown a business growth of about 86% on Saturday. According to the data released by SACNILC, the Saturday collection of the film was Rs 2 crore 60 lakhs.
Talking about the total earnings of the film so far, this film made at a cost of Rs 50 crore has earned Rs 15 crore 50 lakh so far. The film has got a rating of 7.4 out of 10 on IMDb which is quite good. The film has also been praised by critics and Book My Show has given it a rating of 8.4.
It is difficult to say whether the film’s earnings will go up further or not, but it is clear that the audience is giving a good response to the film and the earnings are continuing. But this will be possible only till the time a big film does not step into the theatres.
