‘The Archies’, Vedang Raina wrote an emotional note
Zoya Akhtar‘s film The Archies celebrated its one year anniversary on Saturday. Apart from Vedang, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor made their acting debut in this film. Vedang Raina, who played the character of Reggie Mental in this film, shared BTS photos of The Archies on Instagram and also wrote an emotional note.

Vedang shared a memorable montage of behind the scenes moments in the post and a picture of the clapperboard, a group photo with the cast and crew and a stunning shot of himself as Reggie Mental. Reflecting on his beautiful journey, Vedang wrote, “1 year ago today, my first film The Archies released and it changed my life in many ways. If I hadn’t gone for that audition, I would probably be doing my 2nd year MBA right now.
From years of auditioning I knew somewhere in my heart that acting was my calling, but if it wasn’t for this opportunity I would never have had the courage to accept it. This project was more than just a film for me.”
Vedang wrote something special about Zoya
During this, Vedang thanked director Zoya Akhtar and wrote, “I can never thank you enough for believing in me. So many wonderful memories and the beginning of some really special friendships. Miss you guys. Here’s to 1 year.” This post of Vedang got love from the fans. At the same time, Zoya commented on this post and wrote, “4 ever.”
