Vanvaas Collection Day 3: Touched Rs 1 crore mark on the third day
Anil Sharma’s directorial venture ‘Vanvas’ starring Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma was released in theatres on 20th December. It has been three days since the film’s release today. However, the film had a very bad start at the box office and its ‘exile’ has not ended in terms of earnings till now. Meanwhile, the figures of today’s earnings of the film have also come out. The film performed poorly on Sunday as well
The film did not get much benefit from the holiday on Sunday as well. Its condition did not improve even today. According to the initial figures, Vanvas earned Rs 1.09 crore on the third day today. However, today the film’s earnings saw a slight increase as compared to the previous day. This is the first day since the film’s release, when ‘Vanvas’ has touched the crore rupees mark.
A look at the film’s earnings so far
‘Vanvas’ started with earnings of Rs 60 lakh on the first day. On the second day, Saturday, its earnings jumped and it collected Rs 95 lakh. With the earnings of the third day, the total collection of ‘Vanvas’ has reached Rs 2.64 crore. The condition of the film did not improve even on the weekend. In such a situation, its earnings are likely to fall further in the weekdays.
