Baby John: Will it be able to compete with Pushpa 2
Varun Dhawan fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming film Baby John. The film will hit the theatres in less than 24 hours from now and recently it was announced that its advance booking has also started. Now, it has been revealed that Baby John is receiving an overwhelming response from the audience as far as advance booking is concerned.
According to a report by SaccNilc, Baby John has earned Rs 67.86 crore without block seats. The film has sold more than 21,000 tickets across India on the first day itself. Apart from Varun Dhawan, Baby John also stars Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh and Vamika Gabbi in lead roles. The film will also feature Bollywood Dabangg Salman Khan in a special cameo. Directed by Kalees, the film promises a blockbuster collection on Christmas this year as it will be released in theatres on the Christmas holiday.
According to media reports, Varun Dhawan recently revealed that he did all the stunts for Baby John himself. Varun said, “The scale of action in this film is very big and I have done almost all the stunts myself, with very little use of body doubles. Working with colleagues was the best challenge. They encouraged me to explore my physical limits every day.”
Baby John earned Rs 67.86 crore in advance booking and Allu Arjun‘s film Pushpa 2 The Rule earned more than Rs 100 crore in advance booking worldwide. Now it remains to be seen whether Varun‘s film Baby John will be able to compete with Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa 2 in the coming time or not.
