Tripti Dimri: said- I had to do a big project
Tripti Dimri has gained a lot of popularity in her short career. Tripti, who made her screen debut with ‘Laila Majnu’, gained a lot of popularity from Sandeep Reddy Vanga‘s film ‘Animal’. Although the film faced a lot of controversies and was also called an anti-feminist film, Tripti says that she did not see ‘Animal’ as an ‘anti-women’ film but as a great film.
Tripti doesn’t consider ‘Animal’ an anti-women film
Recently, in an interview with Filmfare, Tripti said, “I didn’t see it as an anti-feminist film. I don’t give films such tags. Even when I was doing ‘Bulbul’ and ‘Kala’, I never thought I was doing a feminist film. I connected with the characters, trusted the directors and felt I should do this film.”
Had to experiment with the role
Talking about working in ‘Animal’, the actress said, “When I was offered Animal, I met Sandeep sir and he didn’t tell me much about the story, he told me about my character. For me, what was different was that I have only done good and good guy roles till now and I felt this is a good opportunity where I can play more characters as well.”
‘Zoya’s character in the film was challenging
Talking about the role of ‘Zoya’ in the film, Tripti said, “Vanga sir told me something very interesting. He wanted to see innocence in my eyes, but I should have a mission in my heart that I want to accomplish. How I get there was my job. I found it quite challenging, that’s why I said yes.”
