Baby John: The film’s earnings fell on the 11th day
Varun Dhawan‘s career has been in a state of flux for the past few years. In search of a hit, the actor took a big gamble on the occasion of Christmas last year and tried to revive his career with ‘Baby John’. However, this attempt of Varun has also been unsuccessful. It has been more than ten days since Varun‘s film was released, but looking at the daily box office figures, it seems that this film is soon going to bid goodbye to the theatres. Let’s know how much Baby John has earned on the 11th day.
It is a remake of this Tamil film
Kaalis’ directed ‘Baby John‘ is a Hindi adaptation of Thalapathi Vijay–Samantha Ruth Prabhu‘s 2016 Tamil blockbuster ‘Theri’. This film is struggling to attract audiences to the theatres. Now ‘Baby John‘ has entered its second weekend in theatres.
Drop in collections since release
According to Sakcinlc, Baby John earned around Rs 11.25 crore on its release day, making it Varun‘s biggest opener in the last five years. After a good opening, the film saw a drop in collections on weekdays and collected Rs 32.65 crore in its first week.
The film’s earnings did not improve even on the weekend
Varun‘s film’s earnings fell drastically and on the second Friday, i.e. January 3, it earned the least in a day. The film earned around Rs 55 lakh on the second Friday, taking the total collection of the film to Rs 36.85 crore in 10 days. Talking about the 11th day’s collection, Baby John has collected Rs 52 lakh on Saturday, i.e. the weekend. In this way, the film has so far earned a total of Rs 37.47 crore.
