Discussions have started regarding Bollywood actor John Abraham‘s new film. It is reported that the actor is in talks with Bollywood director Rohit Shetty for his next film. Reports claim that it will be an action thriller film. However, this film will not be a part of Rohit Shetty‘s cop universe.
Shooting of the film will start in April
According to reports, the story of this film is still being written. It is told that Rohit Shetty and John Abraham are planning to start shooting for this film by April, 2025. The report claimed that Rohit had the idea of this film in his mind for a long time. After the release of Singham Again (2024), he started working on this project, while the script of ‘Golmaal 5’ has been locked.
Will Rohit Shetty’s film be a biopic?
Rohit Shetty wants to go beyond police stories and comedy franchises. Some initial meetings have been held with John. A report had said that the film will be a biopic of former Mumbai Police Joint Commissioner Rakesh Maria.
Film shooting schedule
The film will be shot in Mumbai for 45 days. It was reported that the actor and director have discussed possible dates. They both want to shoot it in the summer, after which Rohit will move on to shoot for Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.
This matches perfectly with John Abraham‘s plans, as he will begin shooting for his motorcycle racing film on the Isle of Man in August.
