Vidya Balan was asked about a film she dislikes, prompting her to mention her 2007 movie Heyy Babyy,
Vidya Balan recently shared an incident where she felt “bullied” at an award function for her costumes in a film, with neither the director nor the costume designer taking responsibility. The discussion arose when Vidya was asked about a film she dislikes, prompting her to mention her 2007 movie Heyy Babyy, directed by Sajid Khan.

Vidya said in an interview on the Unfiltered by Samdish YouTube channel, “Actually, I have not watched Heyy Babyy more than once, but I do think… I didn’t have the guts to watch it, so I don’t know how I have done in that.” Vidya acknowledged that the reception for her in the film was “terrible.”
Vidya recalled the slump that her career went through after her acclaimed debut, and said that it was “honestly a witch hunt.” When asked if the industry was unfair to her because she was “simply too good,” Vidya said that “a few people were threatened. I don’t know if that was because I was too good or they just felt they weren’t good enough.”
