Social Media Criticism Emerges After Kangana Compares Herself to Bollywood Icon

In a recent viral video circulating on social media, Kangana Ranaut, who is running as a BJP candidate for the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, made quite a comparison. During an election rally, she likened herself to the legendary Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan.

In the video,Actress passionately expressed her thoughts, drawing parallels between herself and Bachchan. She emphasized her journey and achievements, aligning them with the iconic status of Bachchan in the cinema world.

She said “The whole country is surprised, that whether I go to Rajasthan, whether I go to West Bengal, whether I go to Delhi, whether I go to Manipur, it seems that after so much love and respect, I can confidently say that after Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, if anyone receives this in the industry, it’s me.”

In response to this a few days ago, Kangana said that her decision to enter politics was not due to the poor performance of her films.

Kangana referred to Shah Rukh Khan’s career graph and the success of her films ‘Queen’ and ‘Manikarnika’, saying that fluctuations in worldwide film success are common.
