Everyone in Misery, North Carolina has a dream. Some of them are: a daffy married country western musical duo hoping for a comeback; a pushy and vicious stage dad with dreams of showbiz success for himself and his children; Misery’s ultra conservative political power couple; two spoiled teenage girls running for student government; and a deranged pastor and his agoraphobic wife.
