It is one of the most highly expected events of the summer: the Berliner Philharmoniker’s yearly concert in one of the biggest and most beautiful outdoors theatre in the world, the Waldbhne in Berlin. In 2007, 20 000 people came to hear the orchestra performing under the baton of its actual music director, Sir Simon Rattle.
