Sharad Kelkar was not contacted for season 3 of The Family Man

Sharad Kelkar costarred with Rajkummar Rao in the film Srikanth. He appeared in The Family Man, Parts 1 and 2.

Sharad Kelkar received praise for his role in the spy thriller series The Family Man. When the third chapter was shown, the actor who starred in the first two seasons of the Manoj Bajpayee-starring espionage saga was nowhere to be seen. Sharad gave an explanation for his absence from the cast of The Family Man 3.

“I might not be in the show because I was not tagged in the announcement post,” Sharad Kelkar stated. “I have no knowledge about it. I also don’t have any updates about it. Actually, I did read the announcement, but I was not told about it. I therefore have no idea. However, I believe it will surpass The Family Man Season 2 in size and quality.”

“They will find some other Kaleshi guy,” Sharad Kelkar continued. “To be honest, I have no idea what they have written. I’m not sure if my position is stated in writing or not because I didn’t attend any meetings or communicate with them. I’ll be there if it is written; if not, you folks will miss me. Since I never lie or make jokes, what I am saying is true.”

In the third season of The Family Man, Manoj, Priyamani, and Shari Hashmi will return to their respective roles as JK Talpade, Suchitra Tiwari, and Srikant Tiwari.

The Family Man 2‘s post-credit scenes alluded to a relationship between the Indo-China border dispute and the Covid-19 outbreak. The third installment’s premise depicts how China attacked the Northeastern states by using the coronavirus outbreak as a pretext.
