“Functions & Relations”

Introduces the use of the Texas Instruments’ TI-Nspire graphic calculator to solve real-life problems involving functions and relations. Examples range from the lift-off and pre-orbital path of a rocket, to a rocket in orbit, to the orbits of planets, to the trajectory of a spacecraft traveling to Mars. The graphic calculator is used to calculate parabolic, circular and elliptical paths.
