Han Hae Na is a single woman. She teaches at a high school. She seems to have an ordinary life. but her family has a secret. Due to her ancestors’ fault, Han Hae Na’s family has been cursed for generations. Whenever they kiss someone, they will turn into a dog at midnight for 6 hours. Afterwards, they revert back to their normal appearance. This transformation repeats itself every night until that same person kisses them in their dog appearance.
Whenever Han Hae Na meets many young men who have the potential to be her love interest, Han Hae Na asks her not to kiss her. This usually leads the men to leave her. This leads Han Hae Na to lead a single life.
One night, Han Hae Na got drunk. She accidentally kisses Jin Seo-won. He is a teacher at the same high school where Han Hae Na works. But they are not even close as colleagues. He is a teacher with good looks and charisma. He is popular with the students.
Jin Seo Won has a fear of dogs because of something that happened to him in the past. Han Hae Na soon turns into panic mode, and she keeps approaching Jin Seo Won for a chance to have another kiss. Will Han Hae Na be able to get a second kiss from Jin Seo Won?
Actors Park Gyu Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Lee Hyun Woo are playing key roles in the series, with various other actors in supporting roles.
A Good Day to Be a Dog is directed by Kim Dae Woong. The series is co-produced by Kim Young-bae and Lee Sang-won under Group 8, Fantagio and A&E Korea production banners. The story of the series is written by Baek In.
