A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder will be available on Netflix from 1 August.
Introduction
Get Ready to solve a new murder mystery, as A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder will hit your screens this summer. Emma Myers, who plays Wednesday Addams’ werewolf roommate Enid Sinclair in Wednesday, will play the intelligent and determined Pip Fitz-Amobi in the series, which is inspired on Holly Jackson’s highly successful YA mystery novel of the same name. The six-episode season, adapted by Poppy Cogan and directed by Dolly Wells, follows 17-year-old Pip as she investigates the murder of a high school student who died five years ago.
Plot
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder picks up five years after a murder-suicide shocked the village of Little Kilton. Sal Singh, the lover of popular high school senior Andie Bell, murdered her before suicide. At least that’s what everyone believes, including the cops. Is the case closed? But Pip Fitz-Amobi (Myers), now a high school senior, sees how the heinous murder continues to haunt her hometown and suspects there is more to the story. Pip does her own inquiry as part of her final project, determined to solve this riddle. But if Sal didn’t do it, it means there is still a killer out there, and Pip may be in danger.
