Aamir Khan recently shared insights into his decision to back the film Laapataa Ladies, citing a realization that he is entering the “last phase” of his career.

During a screening of the film at the Supreme Court, attended by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and other dignitaries, Aamir reflected on his career and his desire to contribute more significantly to the industry as a producer.

He mentioned that with only around 15 active years left, he wants to use his experience to mentor and provide platforms for new talent in the industry.

The screening, held as part of a gender sensitization program and to mark the 75th anniversary of the Supreme Court of India, included a discussion with CJI Chandrachud, who praised Aamir‘s contributions to cinema and recalled their previous interaction during an intellectual property seminar.

The event underscored Aamir‘s commitment to supporting meaningful cinema that addresses social issues.
