Aditi Rao Hydari Recreates Her Heeramandi Gajagamini Walk

Aditi Rao Hydari’s Gajagamini walk has become the talk of the town with the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi.

Aditi Rao Hydari is quickly dominating the internet after arriving at Cannes. Aditi went out in the French Riviera town with her crew to give fans another stunning look after attending a function at the Bharat Pavilion today. 

But the star of the evening was the actor who recreated her famous Gajagamini walk in the video. She uploaded a video of herself doing the viral walk from Heeramandi through the streets of Cannes while sporting a vibrant floral gown perfect for the summer. Scroll down to view the video.

Aditi recently talked about her well-known Gajagamini walk in Heeramandi, revealing that she was unaware of it till Bhansali gave her the lowdown. “What is it that I would like to ask my dance teacher, Sanjay sir? Is it the swan stroll, the Gajagamini walk? I have no idea what walk that is! I will state that I did as Sanjay Sir requested. Sanjay sir instructed me, and I did what he said.”

She said in a recent interview, “I know there are two dances in Kathak—the Mayur Chaal (peacock walk) and the Gajagamini (walk of seduction). I’m sure there are other dances as well, but I should find out.”

In Heeramandi, Aditi Rao Hydari portrayed Bibbojaan. The series, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, delves into the multifaceted experiences of a woman’s struggles.
