KBC 16: Adivasi Contestant Missed Becoming a Crorepatti, Read the Article to Know 1 Crore Rupees Question

KBC 16 Quiz based reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati is a show where people from every corner of the country come to win prize money worth lakhs and crores on the basis of their knowledge. In the 16th season, one such contestant came, who came from a small village and proved his ability in a show like KBC.

Adivasi contestant Bunty Vadiva came in the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16. Despite working in the fields with his parents in the village, Bunty did not stop studying. He did Gyan Hasin and got a chance to appear in KBC. On the basis of his intelligence and knowledge, he has won prize money of Rs 50 lakh, but he got stuck on the question of Rs 1 crore.

What was the question for 1 crore :

After winning Rs 25 lakh, host Amitabh Bachchan asked Bunty Vadiva about playing further. The contestants decided to move ahead without fear and Big B asked a question worth Rs 50 lakh, which he won by answering correctly. But the question of Rs 1 crore stung his knowledge. 

The question was- 

Which of the following awards did Bengali sculptor Chintamani Kar win in 1948 for his artwork titled ‘The Stag’?

A- Pythagoras Prize

B-Nobel Prize

C- Olympic Medal

D-Oscar Medal

Contestant did not take risk :

The contestants of KBC 16 did not know the answer to this question. He didn’t even have any lifeline left. If he had taken the risk, Rs 3 lakh 20 thousand would have been deducted from his prize money of Rs 50 lakh. So the contestant decided to quit the game. Amitabh Bachchan appreciated this decision and asked him for an estimated answer. The contestant said Pythagoras, which was wrong. Amitabh told the correct answer as Olympic medal. He informed that art competitions were also included in the Olympics held in London in 1948.
