If some recent media reports are to be believed, Hanu-Man’s director Prasanth Varma has approached Prabhas for a film. It is being said that the name of this film is Rakshas.
A few months ago Ranveer Singh‘s name was also linked with this film. He started his superhero universe with ‘Hanu-Man’. Now its sequel Jai Hanuman is about to release. A few days ago it was announced that Rishab Shetty will play Hanuman in this film. Prashant’s film ‘Rakshas’ is also a part of this universe. Here, a demon is at the center of the story.
Media reports claimed that Ranveer was excited to do this film. He also met Prashant in this regard. After that, he was also called to Hyderabad for the first look shoot. Ranveer also did that shoot. Then the news came that Ranveer has quietly left the project. There were creative differences between him and Prashant.
Since then Prashant was looking for the lead for ‘Rakshas’. Now that search may end with Prabhas. Prashant has narrated the story to Prabhas. Prabhas liked the subject but he has not yet agreed. This will be a negative character who will later become a villain in Prashant’s universe. Let us tell you that Prabhas played the role of Ram in ‘Adipurush’. After that it was said that Prabhas can return as Ram in Prashant’s universe. But this is not the case. If Prabhas joins this universe, then he will lead ‘Rakshas’ only.
