Ajay Devgn’s sports biopic, Maidaan, on the renowned football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
During Eid 2024, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn produced the sports drama Maidaan. The film is based on the story of Syed Abdul Rahim, an Indian football coach who transformed the sport in India. Even though the film had trouble drawing viewers to the theatres, critics praised it. IMDB gives it an 8.2 out of 10. The OTT release provides viewers with an opportunity to relive what they missed in cinemas.
This Ajay Devgn starrer was originally designed as a pan-Indian picture, but it was only released in Hindi. The original version released on Prime Video on May 22, but no dubbed versions were available until yesterday. Maidaan is now available for streaming on Prime Video in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, in addition to the Hindi version.
Maidaan also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh in key roles. This biographical film was created by Boney Kapoor and ZED Studios. AR Rahman, who has won an Oscar, composed the music.
