Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his third release of 2024, Khel Khel Mein. This year, the actor starred in two films: Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira. Akshay’s forthcoming comedic drama stars Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, and Aditya Seal. They all promise a laugh riot with the most popular family entertainer of the year. Akshay revealed the film’s release date in a new post today.
According to recent reports, Akshay Kumar would no longer release his film on Independence Day. The study was issued following the publication of the Stree 2 trailer, which had a positive reception. However, Akshay Kumar has confirmed that the game is on, as he prepares for the year’s biggest box office showdown. Khel Khel Mein is set to be released in theatres on August 15, 2024.
The Hera Pheri actor announced the film’s release date with a motion poster featuring the entire cast. The actor captioned the photo, “Yaaron waala khel…” Yaari waali image! Band Baaje ke Mahaul mein… Band Bajaane waali image! Say ‘welcome’ to the year’s biggest family entertainment! Khel Khel Mein will be released in cinemas on August 15, 2024.
Following Khel Khel Mein, Akshay Kumar will star in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. The cop action thriller also features Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff. Akshay will reprise his role as officer Sooryavanshi in Shetty’s film. It is slated to open in theatres on November 9, 2024. The actor also has some intriguing films in the works, including Welcome to the Jungle, Hera Pheri 3, and Jolly LLB 3, among others.
