A source close to the production studio exclusively told media, “Akshay Kumar was promoting his latest release Sarfira when he felt unwell and decided to get tested after learning that some crew members on his promotions team had tested positive for covid. The actor tested positive on Friday morning and will miss the final leg of marketing, as well as Anant Ambani’s wedding, to which Anant had personally invited him. It’s disappointing, but as a responsible person, Akshay has immediately distanced himself.” The advent of the monsoon season has resulted in COVID-19 hitting again, and Akshay is among those affected.
