Mushtaq Khan: Kidnappers held him captive and tortured him for 12 hours
Mushtaq Khan kidnapped: Recently, the case of kidnapping of standup comedian Sunil Pal came to light. Now the news of kidnapping of Mushtaq Khan, who has worked in Akshay Kumar‘s film Welcome, has come to light on Tuesday evening. Bijnor police has registered a case against the kidnappers and started investigation in this case.
The incident is said to be of November 20 when film actor Mushtaq Khan was kidnapped from Delhi-Meerut Highway. He was about to attend an event in Meerut. But he was taken to some other place in a car. This incident has come to light when Sunil Pal’s case is already in the headlines. In such a situation, a big question also arises on the security of artists.
Misled on the pretext of event
In the kidnapping and ransom case, the police have filed a case on the statement of the event manager. According to the police, the entire incident was carried out by calling Mushtaq Khan on the pretext of an event. His business partner Shivam Yadav told the media that after reaching Delhi airport on November 20, he was made to sit in a car which was going to take him to Meerut. But midway, the car was turned to another direction.
Shivam further said that the alleged kidnappers tortured Khan for about 12 hours and demanded Rs 1 crore as ransom. When the actor could not pay the amount, they withdrew Rs 2 lakh from the actor and his son’s account.
Whose turn is next after Sunil Pal and Mushtaq?
Whether this incident was just a coincidence or a well thought out plan has become a big question right now. This has created an atmosphere of worry in the entire entertainment industry. Before Mushtaq Khan, a similar incident had happened with Sunil Pal as well, which has raised suspicion that this could also be the work of a gang.
