Akshay Kumar’s cameo, which was heavily kept under wraps by the creators during the promotion of Stree 2, has now been unveiled.
Akshay Kumar cameo in Stree 2: After a six-year wait, Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, was released in theatres on August 15, and it is safe to say that movie began with a bang at the box office. While social media is already crowded with fans gushing over the film, what appears to have wowed the audience the most is the unexpected cameo by none other than Akshay Kumar.
The directors kept Akshay Kumar‘s appearance under wraps during the promotional period, but it has now been disclosed. Photos and videos of the audience cheering in cinemas as the actor entered are now widely shared on the internet.
The post-credit scene in which Akshay transforms into a dangerous ghost was also shared on social media. The creators have yet to confirm if Akshay will star in a full-fledged horror comedy picture set in the Maddock universe, fans have already began to demand one following his cameo in Stree 2.
Stree 2 also features Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee in prominent roles. Varun Dhawan also makes a surprise appearance as his character from the film Bhediya, which is also set in the Maddock horror-comedy universe.
