Alia Bhatt has responded to show support for soon-to-be mother Deepika Padukone, who has been the target of online abuse due to her growing baby bulge.

Alia Bhatt has shown her support for Deepika Padukone as she is been trolled for her pregnancy. Since revealing her baby bump during a recent outing in Mumbai, actor Deepika Padukone has been the target of heavy teasing, with some social media users labelling her pregnancy as fake.

Deepika Padukone made her first public display of her baby bulge earlier this week when she went with her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, to cast her ballot in the Mumbai Lok Sabha Election 2024‘s fifth round. As a result of her trip photos spreading over the internet, some social media users body-shamed her.

A user stated, “She is not carrying a child.” One person said, “This is embarrassing,” while another said, “Why is she walking like that when the bump isn’t that big yet? Chal kiu rahi esyyy abi itna b baby bump bahar nai aya.” Journalist Faye D’Souza turned to Instagram to show support for Deepika as the haters’ noise on social media increased.
Numerous well-known people responded to the message. Alia Bhatt liked the post right away. In actuality, Alia Bhatt‘s mother Soni Razdan, sisters Pooja and Shaheen Bhatt, and other family members agreed and enjoyed the post as well.

In response to the post, actor Shruti Seth wrote, “Fortunately, @deepikapadukone is too busy taking over the world to give a damn! She is stepping all over their ridiculous viewpoints. “Exactly!” actor Tina Datta exclaimed. People are no longer rational.
