Alia Bhatt expressed her delight for her new job on Instagram. The actor has expanded into the children’s book market as well as kids clothing.

As a storyteller, Alia Bhatt has begun a new chapter in her life. The actor says she is working on the entire series of books for the future, and she recently released her first children’s picture book.
Under her children’s clothing line Ed-a-Mamma, Alia debuted Ed Finds A Home, the first in a planned series of picture books, on Sunday.

Alia posted a photo of herself holding the book on Instagram along with a message expressing how excited she was about her new role. She is shown posing with the book and grinning broadly for the camera.
Posting the image, she wrote, “A new adventure begins (sun emoji) Ed finds a Home is just the beginning of a new series of books from the universe of Ed-a-mamma”.

“My childhood was full of storytelling and storytellers .. and one day I had a dream to bring out that child in me and put it into books for children.. I am so grateful to my fellow storytellers, Vivek Kamath, @shabnamminwalla and @tanvibhat.draws, who with their wonderful ideas, inputs and imagination helped bring our first book to life. Fingers crossed for this journey ahead,” she added.
In 2020, Alia Bhatt started her own business, Ed-a-Mamma, selling maternity, teen, and children’s clothing. Reliance Brands, a division of Reliance Retail, owned by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, purchased it last year for an allegedly enormous sum of ₹300–350 crore.
In addition, Alia Bhatt is the owner of Eternal Sunshine Productions, a production company that supported her dark comedy Darlings, which debuted on Netflix India in 2022.
Alongside Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions, she is co-producing Vasan Bala’s upcoming theatrical escape drama Jigra. October 11 is the scheduled release date of the movie.
In addition to Jigra, Alia Bhatt is slated to appear in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and an untitled YRF Spy Universe movie.
