Allu Arjun and YSRCP MLA Reddy are accused for hosting a sizable public meeting at the latter’s home
Allu Arjun was charged for breaking the Model Code of Conduct when he went to Nandyala, Andhra Pradesh, to promote MLA Shilpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy. According to India Today, Reddy, an MLA for the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), was also the target of a lawsuit.
It was said that Allu Arjun and Reddy permitted a sizable public assembly to take place at the latter’s home on Saturday. In advance of the Andhra Pradesh elections, this resulted in a breach of the code of conduct. May 13 is election day in the state.
The actor was invited to the event by the MLA without getting permission beforehand. Andhra Pradesh has imposed Section 144, and it was for this violation that a formal complaint was made. Nandyala Rural Deputy Tehsildar P Ramachandra Rao filed the complaint.
Allu Arjun explained his reason for visiting Nandyala after meeting Reddy at his home on Saturday. According to the report, he had declared, “I came here by myself. When one of my pals needs aid, I’ll be there to support them no matter what industry they’re in. It implies neither my endorsement nor my support for any political party.”
