Alia Bhatt and Sharvari will play the leads in the next installment of YRF Spy Universe. Alia Bhatt announced the film’s title on her social media account. It is titled ‘Alpha‘. The filming of the same has commenced.
Aditya Chopra will produce Alpha, the female-led YRF Spy Universe film that stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The film will be directed by Shiv Rawail, who has previously worked on The Railway Men.
In the teaser promo, Alia Bhatt‘s voiceover says, “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar, aur hamari programme ka motto.” Sabse pehle, sabe tez. Veer Sabse. Dhyan se dekho toh har sahar mein ek jungle hain. Aur jungle mein humesha raaj karega. Alpha is the initial letter of the Greek alphabet and our program’s motto. The first and fastest. The boldest. Pay attention, and every metropolis looks like a jungle. “Alpha will rule the jungle.” The preview highlighted Alpha’s design and finished with the announcement, ‘Filming now.’
The YRF Spy Universe debuted with Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger in 2012. It was then followed up by Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017. The third addition to the list is WAR. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the major roles. Then came our own Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan as a RAW agent. Deepika Padukone also took part in it. The third installment of Tiger will be released in 2023. The YRF Spy Universe is only getting larger and better.
