Director Anand L Rai breaks silence on Tanu Weds Manu 3, gives big update about shooting
Producer Anand L Rai is ready to take on another film project. This time it is the third installment of the Tanu Weds Manu franchise. He directed Tanu Weds Manu and its sequel which were hits. Now he has given an update about Tanu Weds Manu 3 but now it remains to be seen how long the audience will have to wait for the third part of this franchise.
The name of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ also comes in the list of entertaining and romantic films in Bollywood. Released in 2011, this film won the hearts of the audience. After this, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ released in 2015 rocked the box office and fans of the film have been waiting for ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’ since then. But is the third part of this film going to be made?
After Haseen Dilruba, now filmmaker Anand L Rai is preparing to work on his next projects. These include the much awaited third installment of the Tanu Weds Manu franchise. The shooting of the film is expected to start in 2025.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Anand L Rai said, “I know questions have been raised. Where Tanu Weds Manu Returns ended… should the sequel start from there? It depends only on the story, nothing else. We are working on the story. It is a big responsibility to bring back characters with a big story. I am working on it, and the day it is ready, I will start working on the film.”
