Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are now in London. The duo recently attended Krishna Das’ kirtan at Union Chapel. Krishna Das, dubbed the “Rock Star of Yoga,” blends traditional Indian chanting with contemporary music. Several images and videos of the couple taken at the occasion instantly went viral.
Krishna Das, born Jeffrey Kagel, began his spiritual journey in the 1960s. He moved to India and became a disciple of Neem Karoli Baba, whom both Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Earlier this month, Anushka posted images from the kirtan and tagged Krishna Das in them. The couple had also gone to Krishna Das’ kirtan in London last year.
Following the T20 World Cup victory, Anushka Sharma sent a sweet post commemorating her cricketer-husband Virat Kohli‘s retirement. She captioned a photo of Virat with the World Cup trophy and an Indian flag draped across his shoulders, “AND….. I love this man @virat.kohli.” I am very delighted to call you my home; now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate!”
